Haven't really done much in terms of organics. So i thought id try something simple. I ended up downloading a free 3d model and having a look how it was build. This asset was build with geometry only and no alphas. Doing more research most organics such as this use a combination of the two.
I like these. Did you do it yourself from scratch of find some help in some tutorials somewhere?
